The Africa Department of the Tunisian Ministry of Commerce works tirelessly to promote trade between Tunisia and its various African partners through the development of the legal framework governing trade relations. Africa can play a predominant economic role, thanks to its immense development potential.

Our Projects

For years, Tunisia has tried to implement several measures to improve its economic exchanges with Africa. A stronger commitment from German development cooperation to the AfCFTA in Tunisia

Within the framework of the GIZ program to support the AfCFTA in partnership with the African Union, Tunisia was selected, along with four other African countries, by GIZ for the monitoring activities of the AfCFTA project: a national component of this project is launched in Tunisia for the support and capacity building of representatives of the Ministry of Commerce and other relevant Tunisian state parties, who are working together on the AfCFTA agreements.
